Goats are excellent at eating away invasive overgrowth such as kudzu, honeysuckle, English ivy and poison ivy. They usually will not eat grass as they much prefer to forage. If your property has any plants that are poisonous to our goats, we will need to fence around it or clear it out prior to their arrival. They will strip away leaves as far up as they can reach.
Goats are especially useful in areas that are hard for people or machinery to reach, such as sloped yards and hillsides. Another plus is that they leave natural fertilizer everywhere they go! Remember though that they will not remove the woody vines such as that of ivy.
